The Perfect Plant Based Summer Shake Recipe

When summer comes around, it’s time to take advantage of the seasonal fruits. This plant based shake recipe calls for ripe peaches and fresh strawberries, two of our favorites. The base is made with a banana and both cashew milk and coconut milk. However, what really gives this shake its summer coconut-ty taste is the Raw Organic Virgin Coconut Oil. It only takes a small amount to add the flavor you need, and it is well worth it.

Finally, as with all of our plant based shake recipes, we recommend adding a few natural superfood supplements that don’t even change the taste of the shake. Spirulina is an excellent option, as well as just about any type of grounded seed. Surprisingly, you can even add a teaspoon of nutritional yeast, without your taste buds noticing! We encourage you to get creative with the extra nutrition you add to your health shakes.

Plant Based Shake Recipe: Strawberry, Peach, & Coconut


  • 8 medium sized cold or frozen strawberries
  • 1 peeled peach
  • 1 refrigerated banana
  • 3/4 cup cashew milk
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon virgin coconut oil
  • 1/3 teaspoon spirulina powder
  • 1 teaspoon nutritional yeast
  • recommended: add grounded seeds for extra nutrition (hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, chia seeds etc.)


Servings: 1
